Well it has been five months since my sentence was passed! Since then I have brought down my FBS (fasting blood sugar) 30-40 points and my A1C by a full point. Still in the range, but heading in the right direction. So how did I do it? First I gave up the peeps, the weekly (mostly) trip to my favorite pastry shop and started watching what I eat and when. And I started testing my blood twice a day. Once at night, this was to determine if I needed to eat before I went to bed. The second was in the morning, testing the FBS to see how my body burned energy during the night.
